Youth for Hoods is a youth coalition that focuses to prevent and reduce substance abuse among youth youth by addressing the factors within our community that increase the risk of substance abuse. Moreover, establish and strengthen collaboration among communities, public and private non-profit agencies, as well as federal, state, local,
and tribal governments to support the community coalition’s efforts. This coalition will draw together a group of passionate and dedicated individuals from all sectors of the community who will begin to discuss local needs and develop strategies to address substance abuse issues.
